Climate joint
Lithomex Klimafuge is a highly permeable strength joint used in pavements where the need to divert rain and surface water is high.
The climate joint has the same benefits as our traditional strength joints.
- Joint width from 8 mm
- Joint depth is min. 2x joint width, but min. 40 mm*. Min. half stone height for traffic congestion
- Strength 50 MPa
- Density 1.86 g/cm3
- Jointing with Klimafuge must be done in dry weather and between 5 and 25 degrees Celsius
- If the joint depth exceeds 75 mm, contact Lithomex
Deko-Drain
Lithomex Deko-Drain is a professional permeable paving system consisting of granite chips or natural stone bonded together with a specially developed 2-component resin adhesive.
Deko-Drain provides decorative, stable and non-slip drainage fields with very high permeability.
- For pavement thicknesses from 30 to 75 mm
- Strength 15 MPa
- Density 1.56 g/cm³
- Deko-Drain must be laid in dry weather and between 5 and 25 degrees Celsius

2-component climate joint
- Cures to a hard and firm weed-free and highly permeable joint
- Environmentally friendly - no harmful substances are released after curing
- Effectively drains rain and surface water to the subsoil and appears as a classic, ordinary joint
- Can be used from light to heavy traffic
- Frost, salt and UV resistant
- Resists suction and sweeping machines
- Jointing with a climate joint must be done in dry weather and between 5 and 25 degrees Celsius
- Jointing with a climate joint will leave a thin film on the pavement*. This film wears off over time with normal use of the pavement
- *2-component climate joint is not recommended for ceramic tiles or sandstone, as the film from the sealant is difficult to remove on these surfaces
